When the pandemic came I had a lot of realizations be it family, self, or from other people. Firstly family I realized that even your family who is supposed to lift you up will bring you down. Honestly if not for the 3 people lifting me up every day, I don't think I will be where I am today as a person. The second is self I was so self-conscious before I hated how I look, and my body type, I basically hated myself. But someone special to me said, "you can't expect everybody to like how you are because you can't please everybody. So love yourself ". I also heard a quote from my favorite vlogger who said "stop controlling things you can't control it will only make you overthink about things you can't control". When I heard this I realized that they are right I'm only stressing myself out about these things when some people don't even care about it. after the realization, I started to open up and love myself the way I am. And it made me healthier I think because all of the negative thoughts I was making faded.
Lastly from other people, other people will say what they want to say about you. they will criticize you for every mistake that you're doing or about your body, but that's okay at least you can make improvements that will make you better or empowered. Aside from all of this I also realized that we only live once so we should live to the fullest. We don't have to empress everybody to make ourselves empowered we only need ourselves.
